I am able to do this by drawing the answers out of you rather than instructing and giving you the answers.

Coaching with me is never bolshy, instructive or aggressive. I will never talk over or talk at you, pressure you into doing things or ask you to do things that you don’t believe in, aren’t comfortable doing or aren’t committed to.

However, I believe that the typical approach of “just work harder” really doesn’t work for most people. After all, if that was the case, pretty much everybody would be able to “just do it”!
Instead we need to take the pressure and stress off and focus on being happy first before making changes. We need to have a plan that fits our personality, preferences and lifestyle.
We need to have maximum trust, belief and confidence not only in the program but in OURSELVES that we can make, stick to and benefit from the changes we make.
We also need to make sure we feel deserving of the success it brings.
We need someone to be able to “bounce ideas off”, reflect back to us and ask the most effective and powerful questions to allow us to find our OWN answers.
Sadly, all too often we don’t feel good enough or that we are somehow not worthy of focusing our attention on ourselves.
Often plans fail because they are not the right plans for us and because we can’t do it, we assume it is OUR fault and WE are not good enough.

My belief is that EVERY plan works.
However, it works for the right person, at the right time.
The skill in coaching is to match the RIGHT plan to the RIGHT person at the RIGHT time.
When we do this, the plan feels easy, simple and fun.
When it is the wrong plan at the wrong time for the wrong person, it feels hard, like we need more motivation or willpower and that we need our arse kicking to keep doing it.
MAKING CHANGES and IMPROVING YOUR LIFE SHOULD NEVER FEEL LIKE THIS. IT SHOULD NEVER FEEL LIKE HARD WORK, PUNISHMENT OR STRESS.
If it does, you need a new plan!

We all have self-talk and internal “chatter” that tells us we “can’t”, “shouldn’t” or don’t have the time, energy or confidence to get what we really want.
In fact, sadly, a lot of people don’t even know exactly what they want!
They know what they DON’T want but they have no clue what they DO want!
They know they don’t want to be tired, don’t want to be stressed, don’t want to be out of shape, don’t want to be anxious or depressed.
They typically know everything that is getting in the way and everything they need to stop doing or get away from but they have no clue what to actually DO to move towards the things they POSITIVELY WANT.
You see, we get what we focus on.
Our brains pay attention to the things that we tell it are important.
If you tell yourself “not to eat cake” your brain will deem cake to be important and look out for it – hence why you see cake everywhere when you are trying to ‘be good’!
If you focus on your problems, your lack of energy, your stress and all the things you DON’T want, there is an incredibly high chance you will simply get MORE of those things.
I will show you the essential tools to change the self-talk that is holding you back. I will help you find the clarity, direction and purpose you need to WANT to make changes.

We often reinforce our work by diving deeper in between sessions. Depending on what we have covered in the session there may be ‘homework’ given in terms of either physical exercises, reading or watching videos to reinforce concepts or written work to explore your beliefs and stories.
